From colleagues
Carl Buehl is an amazing producer whose reputation is impeccable in the TV world. His resume alone speaks for itself. I had the pleasure of working side by side with him on a Pilot for TLC and he and his team made it an unforgettable life experience. He helped show a small window of my life to the world.

Carl strikes the perfect balance between being a great leader and a creative thinker. I worked for Carl as a senior producer on an HGTV series and it was a pleasure. I was impressed with his ability to clearly communicate his ideas and getting everyone on the same page. He has the ability to deftly problem solve with grace amidst the constant challenges of production and post-production. On top of this, he's passionate about his work and an overall great guy to be around. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

How I think about a show
Pressure-test the premise. Adapt to what happens. Keep the audience in view.
Select consulting engagements
Alongside EP and showrunner work, I take on focused development and production assignments through Cre8TV Spot Inc.
Content & format review
A focused review of the idea, the audience, and the story you are trying to tell, whether that is a series concept, a campaign, or a channel. Clear notes on what works, what is unclear, and what needs testing before you spend money on it.
Development
Shape the characters, structure, and repeatable engine behind a concept, then test whether it holds up past the pitch. Applies to series, branded formats, and ongoing content programs that need to work more than once.
Production & post advisory
An outside read on production plans, crew and budget structure, editorial direction, and delivery, with practical next steps for the team. Useful when a shoot is bigger than what you normally run, or when something in post is not working and nobody can name why.
